Thank you to all our Four Course Classic golfers

We’d like to extend a huge thanks and congratulations to all the dedicated golfers who took on The Four Course Classic for us. Against all odds!

At 4am on Friday the 24 June 2011, 180 golfers – from all over the UK – embarked on an epic golfing journey, attempting to play four different courses in a day, before the light faded. 

Players took part in the golf marathons at courses from Portsmouth to East Lothian to Newport, taking in some of the best clubs in the country such as Royal Burgess, Turnberry Hotel and The Celtic Manor Golf Resort.

This fantastic day would not have been possible without the generosity of the courses supporting the event, and the dedication of the plucky golfers who took on the challenge. We were overwhelmed by the support from golf courses for the Four Course Classic, with around 500 clubs pledging their support.  

Thank you to Golfbreaks.com who donated the fantastic top prize for the top fundraisers.    

These golfers really have taken a swing at muscle disease!
